Thinking Only About How Cute It Would Be
昔、お友達が「麦わら帽子にフルーツをたくさん乗せたらかわいいと思うんだよね」と言いました。
重い果物を頭にたくさん乗せるなんて！と、ビックリしました。
彼女は、重さのことなんて考えてなくて、ただ、楽しいビジュアルの帽子になっていいなと思っていただけでしょう。
実際には、フルーツだらけの帽子は作らなかったと思います(笑)
そんな風に考えられる自由さ、気軽さがステキだったな、と最近思い出していました。
今ならいろんな素材があるので、軽いフェイクフルーツ飾りの帽子もできるかもしれませんね。
絵に描いてみたら、私もちょっとかぶってみたくなりました(#^^#)
A long time ago, a friend once said,
“I think it would be cute to put lots of fruit on a straw hat.”
I remember being surprised—putting so much heavy fruit on your head?!
But she wasn’t thinking about the weight at all.
She was simply imagining how fun and joyful the hat would look.
I don’t think she ever actually made a fruit-covered hat (laughs).
Still, I’ve recently found myself remembering how lovely that sense of freedom and lighthearted imagination was.
Now that there are so many different materials available, maybe a hat decorated with lightweight faux fruit could actually be made.
After drawing it, I realized I kind of want to try wearing one myself.
